Chamber Childcare is a flexible, expertly supported salary sacrifice scheme that
enables your staff to save hundreds of pounds on their childcare costs.
Each parent can receive either £55 per week or £243 per month of childcare vouchers.
The vouchers can be redeemed at any OfSTED registered or approved setting.
A parent on a basic rate of tax can save £904 per year and this can be doubled if both parents take part in a scheme.
Employers also benefit as they are exempt from the NI element on the amount sacrificed
by their staff.
It’s easy – cancellation arrangements are flexible and straight forward if your
circumstances change.
So:
- You agree to let your staff enjoy the savings
- They complete some simple forms
- We set up the salary payment arrangements with you
- The vouchers can be sent to the employee’s home address
- They are used in part or full payment of their fees at their childcarers
Our childcare experts are on hand to help you and your staff and they are only a
phone call away.
Chamber Childcare allows you to enhance your staff benefits package whilst reducing
your employment costs. That’s why hundreds of companies have chosen to offer Chamber
Childcare to their workforce.
Contact our support line on 0845 606 6560 and we will tell you how easy it is to
help the hard working parents in your team and save money at the same time.
If your employer participates in the scheme then you can start saving money now.
- You can use your weekly voucher allowance at any number of OfSTED registered or
approved childcare providers.
- Each voucher is valid for 12 months and can be used with more than one childcarer
- You can save them and use them during the holiday times at holiday clubs
- You can use some on day care for your youngest child and the rest on after school
care for the older ones
The scheme will not be of benefit to everyone.
If you are in receipt of Working Tax Credits, you may need to check how this might be affected. If you only receive the family element of the Child Tax Credits this will not be affected.
You can do this quickly and easily by visiting the Inland Revenue's website and filling in your personal details.
Registration is easy.
You just need to fill in two forms which we will send you, one confirming your details
and the other to provide us with your bank details if you would like to be paid
by BACS. Alternatively we can raise you a cheque.
When you receive a voucher, all you need to do is to call our helpline or email
us, confirm who you are and provide us with the serial numbers of the vouchers you
wish to redeem.
The payment process will start immediately – there are no delays on payment.
